Terms of Service

General

Click here for the accessible version on Google Docs.Even if my TOS is not read in full, by commissioning me you agree and abide to it, and I am able to revoke my service anytime during or after the commissioning period if you have broken my TOS in any way.• Please read and understand my DNI if you want to order art from me. Thank you for respecting my boundaries!• I upload all commissioned art to this Toyhouse commissions character. If you don't want you art to be uploaded there, let me know.• Commissions are not done on a first come first serve basis. Due to time constraints and motivation, I may not accept commissions immediately when ordered.• I accept USD via Paypal, Cashapp, Venmo, or Ko-fi. I sometimes accept Discord Nitro as a voucher payment, but please ask me before paying this way.• Please tell me the whole scope of your commission, including if you want alternate forms, colors, or additional pieces that include extra work on my part. All payment must be upfront and final.• You can make edits to my art as long as the original is recognizable. Always keep a version of the original file and my signature, else any edits you've made can be claimed as traced over my original design and art or malicious editing of my art. Please keep the original art on Toyhouse.• By commissioning me you are willing to let your character be drawn by my stylistic interpretation or simplification, especially for chibis and pixels.• You can trade or gift my designs, and resell if they have monetary worth. Do not inflate prices of art or scalp designs that is not their actual worth. Scalping free designs for money will result in an immediate public blacklist.• Free or gifted designs must be returned to me if there is no added quality or commissioned art.• None of my art or designs can be used in any sort of hatespeech or bigotry that oppresses minorities. My designs can be used for NSFW purposes. If you use my designs for proship, zoophilic/feral NSFW, babyfur, or morally questionable kinks, I have the right to withdraw my creator credits and will blacklist from further purchases.• If the TOS is not followed, depending on severity I will warn or blacklist from future purchases

Design TOS

You must read and agree to my design TOs before ordering a custom character design.• I may mock up multiple sketches for your custom design; if the other sketches are not used, I may repurpose them elsewhere.• Do not credit yourself as the designer or artist of my works. Please credit me correctly on Toyhouse!• I can refuse a custom character commission any undisclosed reason.• I do not make character based characters (CBC's) or designs. Inspirations are fine! But I don't believe in making other people's characters, even if they're franchised, as your own character. This does not include franchise species; I will make a Pikachu or Night Fury design, but not Ash's Pikachu or Toothless as a design.• You can make any edits to the design that do not breach my DNI, including species changes, color or anatomy changes, cleaning up art, etc. You are able to edit my art, but keep a copy of the original file and do not remove my signature, otherwise you may be accused of drawing over a stolen design. Please keep the original art on Toyhouse.• You can trade or gift my designs, and resell if they have monetary worth. Do not inflate prices of art or scalp designs that is not their actual worth. Scalping free designs for money will result in an immediate public blacklist.• I ask to respect original species TOS before mine, unless the community's rules are made with bad intentions (such as collecting designs to 'unvoid' back into a problematic species)• None of my designs can be depicted in any sort of inflammatory or hate art/writing, in any bigotry that oppresses minorities, or participate in any morally questionable kinks. Please make your own design if you want to make a villainous story character that has bad morals / anything on standard DNI• Do not try to obtain any of my designs if I have you blocked. Respect my space! This includes my designs owned by others, that are being resold, are for free or raffled off, or in any way are attached to me• If you have been found breaking my TOS, I have the right to revoke ownership of the character in name, future acquisition of my designs, and publicly blacklisting.

FAQ

When do I send you the payment?Whenever I ask for it. This is usually after I've shown you a satisfactory sketch. Payment must be sent to me within 72 hours or on a previously agreed time, or I will void your commission.Where do I send you the payment?I accept payment via Paypal, Kofi, Cashapp, or Venmo. I will send you my information when I ask for payment. If paying with Discord Nitro, please send the link of the gifts, as I share any Nitro payments with my partner.

If paying with art or in mixed format, I will only finish my part after your part is finished.How long does a commission usually take for you to finish?After showing a satisfactory sketch, I will finish the commission within 2 weeks.What is part of your style/Can I specify what I don't want to see in your style?Please commission me with the intention of my style interpretation. In my style, I include cleaned-up sketchy lines, eyebrows, white outlines, and simplified eyes, sometimes with white pupils. For specific types of art, I simplify markings and accessories, which may lose detail and we can work out during the sketch stage.What can I do with the art/design I commissioned from you?I upload commissioned art and custom designs to Toyhouse, regardless if you have an account or not, for tracking purposes.
You can use the art as your profile picture, header, to decorate any sort of site or aesthetic, etc, but please do not repost my art on public accounts like Twitter, Instagram, or Tumblr-- I will post it on my accounts, and you can reshare from there. I don't allow my art to be reposted, especially on art-focused sites.
You are able to make edits to the art/design you bought, including species changes, color or anatomy changes, or cleaning up the art. Do not remove my signature, and always keep the original design art as proof you did not steal the design!Can I ask you to title the commission a certain word/phrase when you post it publicly?Yes! Feel free to tell me before or after the commission is posted.Can I ask you to not publicly post my commission?Yes, of course! Please let me know beforehand, as I post all my commissioned art and designs.Can I take inspiration from your designs?For the most part, yes! In the case of custom designs ordered by a commissioner and meant for their use, do not take inspiration from those designs, as that custom design is meant for the commissioner and them only. Otherwise, I look at animal pelts/other artists' designs to inspire my own, so feel free to take parts of my own designs and incorporate them. Just don't make recolors or blatantly copy my art/designs!Questions? Ask away!
